College or University is a place where the best knowledge can be gained in detail and in depth. Many people dream of ending their bachelor's/college degree in whichever field they take for the sake of gaining the scroll that they all have been waiting for their life so that they will use it in the future to get a decent job.


Unfortunately, not all people are given this opportunity and yet some even didn't get their chance to actually end their degree at their respective college. However, this is no excuse for them to become successful entrepreneurs in the future.

In the United States, 1 out of 8 Billionaires did not finish their studies and ended up becoming college dropouts during their teen years. Even though they did not finish college, they did not give up on their lives until they become today in which they managed to build their very own business empires.

He is considered one of the most famous Billionaires worldwide. Almost everyone in the world uses Facebook in their life and of course, the name Facebook is very synonymous with Mark. 

Mark did not finish his studies when he was at Harvard University because he was too focused on building his website, Facebook. Now he has currently valued at $66 Billion in which his age is only 35 years old.

This man is an immigrant that came to the United States of America together with his mom when he was only a teenager. Jan Koum was the founder of the most popular messaging app called Whatsapp. His company was later on bought by Facebook for the price of  $19 Billion.
That purchase has made him a billionaire with a net worth of $10 Billion.

3. Ted Turner


This man is the founder of the most popular news channel in the United States. He founded the company CNN which was popular in the 1980s. This news network was so popular due to the news being aired 24 hours a day and 7 times a week.


He was expelled from his university due to bringing his girlfriend into his room when he was still a student at the University of Brown.

Now his current net worth is $2.2 Billion.

4. Ralph Lauren


Ralph Lauren is the most popular fashion designer in the world with the brand Polo. He didn't manage to complete his studies at Brauch College in New York.

He started his career by selling neckties when he was working in a building at the Empire State Building. Now he is a totally different person where he managed to succeed in his business and his current net worth is $5.8 Billion.

5. David Geffen


He is the richest man in the world of entertainment. David is also the founder of DreamWorks Animation together with Steven Spielberg before the company was bought by the Hollywood film giant, Universal Pictures.

6. Bill Gates



Bill Gates left his studies at Harvard University after two years studying there for the sake of building Microsoft together with his partner Paul Allen.

Now Microsoft is the most valued company in the world in terms of market capitalization. His net worth is approximately $102 Billion and he is also rich in generosity when he founded Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

He is the biggest tycoon in the gambling industry. He owns a casino in Las Vegas, Macau as well as Singapore.

He was born into a very poor family and started his first business at the age of 12. He also failed to complete his studies at the college level.

Even though he didn't complete his studies, he is an entrepreneur with 50 types of business before becoming a Billionaire. Now his net worth is $33.1 Billion.

He is the founder of a very popular toy company in the United States called Beanie Baby. The Beanie Baby toy is a cute teddy bear that is loved by little kids.

He did not manage to continue his studies at college because he can't afford to pay the college fees.

This man is one of the controversial CEO that lived in Silicon Valley. He's the founder of the popular e-hailing app called Uber.

One of the controversies that Travis started was his having a fight with an Uber driver while he is using the service himself.

Micky is one of the students that did not manage to end his studies at Miami University but the accumulated wealth that he has now is $7.7 Billion.

Larry is the founder of Oracle which is very popular for providing a platform for the database. He has failed 2 times in completing his studies at a University level in his life.

Regardless of his failing twice in life, he has managed to get a whopping $63 Billion through the company that he founded.

He failed to further his studies at the University of Syracuse due to helping his family business at that time. Donald who was born into a middle-class family has continued his family business legacy that has been left behind by his father which is Advance Publications.

He managed to expand his father's business until he became a Billionaire with a net worth of $12.8 Billion.
