Warren Buffet Advice Towards Happiness

Everybody wants to be happy in life and what more can make us happy other than owning lots of money like Warren Buffet. Warren Buffet himself has given a lot of people advice regarding his investment strategy and he is also someone who others look upon as the one with high achievement and success.

When he was giving one of his talks at the University of Florida in 1988 one person asked him one key question " What will he do in his life in order for him to be happy if he lives longer?"

According to the Chief Executive Officer of Berkshire Hathaway in order to achieve happiness in our lives, we should work together with those that we are comfortable with and avoid those we despise. Just like the CEO himself he only worked with those he finds easing.

In addition to all of that, happiness which brings in profit as much as $100 million USD by working with those we hate just shows how desperate we are for money. It is not a good idea to do it in the long term since you will notice that you will do the job without any sort of passion and love.

Find a Good Environment

Warren Buffet did not recommend this in the field of business and investments, however, he did use this principle in his daily life. This can also be said about our life in which we can be doing the same thing regardless of the situation we are facing.

For instance, when you are working in an office full of toxic people as well as having a very demanding boss. Sooner or later it will affect you in a way that your health will have such a huge impact aside from not performing the tasks given.

It is suggested that you either find a way to get around your problems or better yet simply find another job. It will be of no benefit to you to stick around any longer and feel stressed out each day.

Finding Good Friends Who are Better than You

Having a helping hand during work will certainly ease the tension of your job. During a talk session at the University of Colombia between Bill Gates and Warren Buffet, Warren Buffet stressed:
You are shaped by the people around you so it is of utmost importance to mingle with people who are much better than you

Some of you might have heard of the golden words of Jim Rohn which he states:
You are the average of the 5 people who you spend the most time with

This clearly means that the person you spend most of your time with will definitely shape who you are in the future.

In a nutshell, it can be said that it is much better for us to avoid the people who we find either toxic or a burden in our lives regardless of whether the relationship is at work, business, and so on.

It is better to keep moving forward with the people who will shape you to become more successful in the future.
